Menu Plan Monday

Did you ever walk into the grocery store and wish that they would come up with a new food? I get that way every couple of months. I start wandering up and down the aisles looking for new meats or even a new side dish. I get sick of the typical chicken, beef, pork, pasta, potato, salad routine. Unfortunately, I live in a relatively rural area and more exotic foods are impossible to come by. We don’t even have a decent cheese selection.

So, I am making do with my normal foods this week, but I am trying out some new recipes that I pinned on Pinterest. Hopefully, that will get me over my food rut.

What do you do when you get into a food rut? How do you get yourself out of it? I’m getting pretty desperate!

Meal Plan

Monday — Kielbasa, Oven Fries
Tuesday — Chicken Tortilla Soup, Sandwiches
Wednesday – Italian Beef Slow Cooker Sandwiches, Fresh Vegetables, Chips
Thursday — Pork Chop Candied Yam Bake, Peas
Friday — Honey Sesame Crockpot Chicken with rice
Saturday — Hot Dogs, Mac and Cheese and Baked Beans

Sunday — Meatloaf, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans

    I’ve been blessed to have lived in San Diego and now Las Vegas. Both cities do give me lots of grocery shopping options.
